New Problem

RE: New Problem
your Silenoid sounds like it has stuck. Either replace it or tap it until it stops spinning over for now. Take your positive wire off and leave it sit for a bit and then put it back on, turn the key to the on position and leave it set for a few mins to reset the ecu.

Hopped in my fox today and started it up. Both the "Check Engine" and the battery lights came on. It drove fine all the way back to work and as I pulled into the parking lot at work the car started sputtering and shut off. I tried to start it but nothing the battery is very dead. Since I don't live far from work I jumped it and tried to drive it home but every time I press the accelerator the car started sputtering like it wanted to shut off again. I sank the clutch pedal and it reved. I let up on the clutch and it started to lose power again.
Anyway, I got it home and charged the batter, put in back in the car, started it up, disconnected the terminal and the car shut off. I know this means the alternator is bad, but is that also the reason as to why the battery light came on and why when I press the accelerator it lost power and shut off?

The alternator problem is fixed, the check engine light remains on. Try and read the check engine engine light.
