Default Battery Relocation Please!

Im looking at doing the ol' battery in the hatch move. Still debating between:

Aluminum box
Plastic box
No box (straps)

and also im not sure exactly where to place it in my hatch and if i should cut a section of carpet.
can you guys with a hatch post pics of your relocation to help me decide please?

thanks

well the 3rd option you cant do if you plan to go to the track. you have to have your battery in a sealed box to drive at the track. i would just go with the plastic moroso box. ill post pics of my setup when i get home, im at work right now[:@]

I am not sure, just mock it up and see. Make sure you have some good metal under car to attach bracket bolts.

I did not think about the tank, that could pose a problem when deciding where tomount it. Since i have a aluminum 8 gal cell, i removed my gas tank.
