Default cobra intake a direct bolt on?

I plan on buying a cobra intake manifold and was wondering if it's a direct fit... the guy i'm buying it from has the upper and lower intakes. Will it fit onto the stock motor?

i spoke with a mechanic who says he's never worked on a mustang before but claims that the stock lower intake manifold and the cobra lower IM are cut at different angles and there will be a gap where the manifold sits. Has anyone had a problem with this or is this guy talkin out of his ***?

+1 to the above, as long as you get the upper/lower intake manifold, it's a direct bolt on swap.

You gotta love all the stupid info out there. The other day i pulled up at a mechanic shop where my friend works, and teh owner came out and asked if i had swapped the original 4 cyl for the 5.0, i said its an original 5.0, and that all GT's were. He then proceeded to say that no v8's came with 4 lugs. This was the OWNER of the oldest shop in town, and he has owned several 5.0's. whatever, anyway, yea its a direct bolt on
