rad/coolant filters?

rad/coolant filters?
Just installed a brand new aluminum rad and the engine has a fresh rebuild on it. I think I remember losing some gasket material into the waterjackets and stuff. How do some of you filter your coolant? I'm aware of the Tefba filters and Gano filters, but anyone have a (Cheaper) solution? THanks!
