well considering the size of them being bigger than I have now,And Im sure they will be stickier that the BFG tires I have now. Also out of the rating people rated them a 9.1 in dry traction. thats good right?

I think 255's are the widest your car will take without having to modify the exhausts. Also, the height is MUCH higher than stock since the height number is a percentage of the width, meaning the height of the tire is 60% of 275mm vs 55% of 225mm which is stock. That will really screw with your speedometer readings and if you have a newer one with ABS, that will mess that up completely. Also, the fronts should be stock width or narrower, wider and it'll rub on the inside of your wheel well, trust me, I know first hand, and that was with 245's...
I would go 275/45 if you must go with 275, oh wait, your car is a 1990, is that still with the 15" "turbine" style rims? Oops, ok, forget what I said about the height, I think your stock height number was 60, so if you want 275, it should be 275/50R15.
Yah, going 275/50 will only change your wheel height by like 0.5%-1%, so that isn't that bad, this is presuming your stock tires were 225/60R15 though.
if not, here's how you figure out your height number:
(width * 0.height (if 60 is height, use 0.60) ) / 275
Round that number to the nearest tenth and then get rid of the decimel point and that should be your new height number.

Well its different on a 89' mustang. But Im not worried about the speedo, ill fix that later. Also I have dumped exhaust, not pipes to worry about and i have a fender lip roll. So im sure they will fix. Im just concerned on how stickie they will be.

Hey 95stang5.0, newsflash, neither one of us drive a 1994-1995 Mustang.
90Mustangfan, well, I don't really know too much about them, but they should be ok. Just keep a look out for wet traction, often a good dry traction tire might suck in wet conditions. I try to get a tire with a good balance between the two.
