you dont need 31 spline axles... nor do you really WANT them..
to make 31 spline axles work you will need a new carrier... basically your going to be building a whole new rear end... plan on it costing your ~$1000
just get a new set of 3.73 GEARS only and have a shop install them... you MIGHT wanna consider having them rebuild your trac-lok while they are in there

Do you know of any places online where I could buy the gears? ..Or is it something I just need to take to a shop and say 'this is what I want' and let them take care of everything (including purchasing the gears to begin with)?

yah theres plenty of places to buy gears....summit...jegs...americanmuscle...50resto. ...btw..all dot coms...in case u didnt get that part...but ya i got a bundle kit that had gears..install kit...fluid...and then i bought the trac loc rebuild and me n a guy at work put them in...he charged me like 150 since i work with him for a couple years...so ya most places is like 2 or 250 tho...but ya you can buy them anywhere...
forgot one thing..depending on what year your car is...its gonna need a new speedo gear..or if its new enough a tuner to get the speedo and odometer right after the swap...
