Default RE: AODE to AOD???

I agree that the AODE is abetter tranny than the AOD, even if the AODcomes out of an F150. Some will disagree, but the AOD is best suited for taking the kids to the mall (I've been through 3 of them in my F150 4X4). Yes you can build them with aftermarket parts, and throw some horsepower at them, but they just don't hold up over time. You can even use the lower 1st gear from the AODE to build your AOD (been there done that in the F150, paid for it later!).

For sale: 1 used AOD 4X4, only rebuilt 3 times by different shops, still doesn't work right, only $3600 invested! (just kidding, I wouldn't sell this tranny to my worst enemy)
