could be a computer problem... you arent supposed to habe more then 5v at the TPS to begin with....

check the voltage at the +5v source wire

Im not getting any codes like Tps too high or anything. Ive heard of voltage being out of range or screwy but not too high is this an uncommon problem?

LOL, thanks for the sarcasm but im at work right now . And I didn't check codes in response to your suggestions, I checked them over the past couple days. As soon as I get home I'll check and get back. Thanks for the help guys.

ok so I just checked my TPS voltage off the red wire and it is above 5v. Its more like 5.43. Do any of you know what this means and how do I go about solving this issue.
