Default Fluidyne Users HERE!

Well, instead of just buying a cheap replacement I decided to go with something "performance" so I got the Fluidyne aluminum radiator. I figured since I paid close to $500 DOLLARS FOR IT ([:@]), it would fit great and install with no issues but I guess I was wrong. The rad goes in fine but the brackets arent even touching it when I go to put them on. The rad is about an inch too low and an inch too thin... whats the hell is going on here? Am I doing something wrong here!?!? Its blowing my mind, Im super frustrated at this point.

Here you can see how its an inch low

And here you can see how its in inch short.....

Im about 99% sure its the right size unless summit sent the wrong one (which I didnt check yet but I will in a minute). I know that I ordered the right one because I always use the "make sure this fits your application" on summits website.....

I even just through the old 3 core back in to see if I was just retarted and it fits perfect.

Hmmmm, last one I saw in a fox had an awesome fit. Except for the price, it made me wish I had bought one.

I paid 240 for mine off e-bay. I actually went by the sellers feedback, contacted some of the buyers via e-mail. They were all happy, that was enough for me. Fit good and so far so good. 'Bout 3 years old now!

WOW. That explains alot! I remember I had to take them off to get my old rad to fit! Do you think that will make up all of that difference though? Thats alot of room to make up, I dont remember how big the insulators were.....

AODE.... where did you get that picture from? I need those brackets also lol. As you can see in the picture I tried to powdercoat the original ones and I didnt clean them enough and the end result was horrible lol. Dont feel like spending 4 hours trying to grind down powdercoat... very difficult task lol.
