general oil pressure

i have a 331 and i'm just wondering what normal psi oil pressure should be at idle, regular driving, and aggressive driving. thanks

I am also wondering what oil pressure is normal. I also have a 331, I have 50 at idle and between 60 and 62 at wot spinning 6500 rpm's! the gauge (autometer) doesn't move around a whole lot or very quickly.

I depends alot on what kind of pump you have. A good rule of thumb is at least 10 psi for every 1000 rpm. My 357's pressure a cold idle is 60, warm idle is 42, and running the car it stays around 55-62

I have the factory pump, but why would it move so slowly, my 2.3 ranger's oil pressure moves way quicker.

i notice my car takes about 30-60 seconds to reach full oil pressure in the morning

although it is close to 30 degree's here in the morning, and i run 10w40
