400hp and streetable?

whats the best waty to get 400-450hp and still be streetable. '86 mustang 5.0 fuel injected. It will be going to the drags also, but I do want reliability

Turbo, supercharger, or nitrous...or a nicely built stroker. Any of them will be able to accomplish the task with relative ease if the right parts are used and its built properly.

A 306 w/ a blower isn't gonna do it by itself. An otherwise stock 302 bored over with 10 PSI will only get you around 330 - 340ish HP. Add some spray to that and you'll get there though.

my buddie has a stock block bored over to a 306 ,h/c/i and a blower and he made 451rwhp and its his daily driver.

bone stock 302, put a turbo kit on it and youll hit 400rwhp easily. and itll still be streetable because when not in boost the motor will run like its stock
