about 6 months ago i figured out that i had all my cobra stuff too. same damn situation and parts!!! (i had 24s tho) thats weird.

Hopefully my 24# injectors will be here by this weekend. To me the car runs OK. This is my first Mustang so I cant really say if this ishow it runs or not. Definatly not as fast as I would like it( isnt it always that way). Hope to see some kind of change for the better with the new injectors. I kinda wanted to wait untill I got a new intake so I only have to do it once. Can damage occur from driving it with the 19# injectors in? I dont know how long they have been in there like that.

I wonder if the computer has been flashed for the use of 19# injectors? I dont know of anyone around here to be able to take a look at it to say for sure.

pull the ECM out and see if there is a chip stuck in the J3 service port on the end

If by J3 port you mean the top of the computer. I found the following. The black metal mounting platehas a part # of 689151, 89-92 Mustang 302 HO Port Inj. Man. 5. SN: 501003

I pulled the chip out and it is a Hypertech chip PN: 689151
Hypertech (c) 1996
SN: 501003

Is this aftermarket or something Ford used back in the day? This is why I hate buying cars that have already been messed with. Smat people, what do you think?

So just leave it out and put some tape over the hole? Sounds easy enough. Is there any chip for the cobra computer. Guess I can doa search on it. Thanks Adder.
