i cant tell if my car has a different cam or not. it sounds like its got a little lope to it but nothing significant at all. any easy way to tell besides tearin into it.

I am sure if you had an after market cam, the previous owner would have used that as a selling point.

yes your car has a cam... all 5.0 mustangs have a cam

no s*** it does thanks for the comment.yea the previous 3 owners know nothing about it. the 3rd owner said it had a 95 bottom end he was a stoner so of course he knows nothin he did to it. also it has a rattle/ knock under the p/s valve cover on cyl #4 it sounds like. anyone ever have that problem. i dont think it has aftermarket rockers.

If you have a rattle or knock in your vavle train, you need to remove the valve cover, those "noise's" rarely go away on their own. ;)

o yea i know and i knew i shoulda did it when i did the upper n lower intake gaskets. its been there for a while now. i just need to get gaskets.is cork or rubber better or no difference for valve covers.

I use the cork. Some will argue other's are better, but there is not much pressure there.

yea thats what i thought. i will have to do this asap. hopefully not anything too major.

i use the blue felpro gaskets. they have a metal wire running through them. they are reusable and work great. i think they are close to $30 for the set tho

the stock cam has a nice lope to it

95 bottom end? same as any other 5.0L EFI

nothing special about that year unless its a cobra
