Default 98+ explorer intake and heads

what kind of issues am im going to run into with the EGR being a different set up than my 93 GT. anyway to make the EGR function or do you have to delete it.

I deleted mine, I think there is a way to get it to work, but if you don't need it to pass emmsions I would just remove it

im just not sure how the EGR will affect the performance, what should i expect? just a check engine light, will it require at tune to make it run correctly without it?
