Default 5.0 to a 351 ?'s

Welp one of my buddys knows a guy that has a 351 bored .060 over, has new bearings and basically just needs put back together. Not to sure of the year pf the block but I do know its older, but one of my questions is that I currently have a 5.0 Fuel injected motor, and have some extra goodies on it such as GT40 aluminum heads(Not GT40P), an Edelbrock Performer RPM Intake, 24lbs injectors, custom tune, cam, 1.7 Roller rockers, throttle body, a C4 with TCI guts, and an Art Carr converter. From what ive been told I can use the heads but would have to have the head bolt holes drilled out to 1/2 in. Also if I was to use these heads what headers can I run or should I run, such as can i run a 302long tube header???and what other stuff of mine can I use from my current motor, and what will I have to buy. Thanks for the help!!!!

P.S. Spec Stage 3 and Billet Steel Flywheel FOR SALE!!! $400 obo

Heads will bolt up.. they are interchangeable.... headers come off of the heads, so your headers and exhaust system can stay the same. Intake might work.. injectors should work.. cam wont work, rockers might work, throttle body will probably work. Good luck!

tsk tsk tsk.....intake will not work. cam would work but it depends on the specs of the cam....you might not want use it....possible its flat tappet and your roller and it will not work in that case unless you use flat tappet, you didnt add any of your own car specs.....heads...im sure you can do better than what came stock on it and yours now are too small for the 351 motor..so what im getting from this is you want to take that 351 and swap it into your car and you want to know what you can use and what you cant????so i would say more than likely

no on intake
no on cam
yes on exhaust
yes on heads

My car is basically a bracket racing car, so nothing to wild, plus my heads have Comp valve springs that are rated to .550 lift, and I have 1.7 rockers so, i was thinking somewhere along the lines of like a .540 lift or so?? whatcha think

You will also need an oil pan for a 351W in a FOX chassis.
You need a 351W distributor also.
Headers may or may not work.

most of the information in this thread is SOO far off, its not even funny.

your 302 headers will not work, your 302 intake will not work, your cam is a roller cam, and most 351w blocks are flat tappet, so your cam is out, unless you get the conversion lifters for $479.... and no, your current lifters wont work. yes, the heads need to be drilled out, yes, you need a new oil pan, yes, you need a new distributor..

and yes, that block will not last you very long.. .060 over is a stretch if you plan on racing the car.
