sunroof problem!

Default sunroof problem!

i got my sunroof tinted the other day and the guy took my sun roof all the way off to tint it and it rained last night and wen i went to get in my car my seat was wet is there any way i can fix it i tried taking it off and putting it on right but im not sure if i even put it back on right can someone please help

Check the condition of the weatherstripping around the sunroof. The tint guy might have ripped it when he pulled it out.

Have you been able to localize where its leaking from? Like with a squirt bottle or something? One of the ancient gaskets might have torn when he removed it (not his fault, those gaskets are well beyond their expected service life).

Its also possible that the film tint just isn't sealing well to the gaskets. Try some armorall or something on the gaskets to soften them up and see if that helps. I'd wait until the tint has had a week to cure before I did that though. You don't want the glue to soften up.

If it open's and shut's fine with no binding, then do what he said, i bet that is the problem.
