Default T-top structure being safe from flexing

What would be a good hp and torque level for a t top model stang, as far as being safe and not twisting the body. I will have sub frame connectors on before I do any serious modding. Any recommedations on what power and what other types of extra support I would need to keep the body and frame from flexing?

i dont really know. but i would think it could hold as much as any other hard top stang if the chassis was strengthened enough. I will be putting about 350-400 rwhp and about 400-450 tq in mine. i will be getting some subframe connectors, welding some in car braces, and all the suspension mods needed to support the power i am doing. *maybe a 4-6 point roll bar, MAYBE*

I am trying not to put a roll bar in my car, I just don't think it belongs in a t-top. Thanks for the answers btw.

subframe connectors, maybe a floor bar.. but mostly.. a roll bar

they look hot in ANY stang

Thanks adder, maybe I may need to go with a roll bar. Or I could keep this car mainly stock and go all out with a notch or an lx hatch.

I make 418 rwhp and they are fine with no subs or stiffining at all... I would not recommened this but i am adding in car subs and braces with a 8 point roll bar before the bottle is added...

Horsepower will not hurt the a T top car. Even 600hp would be safe.

It's launching with traction that will hurt it.
