Mustang8719 - Seems pretty straight forward... Let me see if I have this straight...The seat is bolted to the slider, the slider bolted to the bracket.. and then to the car???? where abouts does the seat hit the door? I'm looking at a set of those exact seats. I think they are around 225 for the pair and then 100 dollars to ship them.. Does that like a good deal?thanx!

I'm actually installing a set of APC seats right now. I'm reusing the stock brakets (had to drill a hole in them to fit the spacing on the APC seats), and I'm making a set of seat-to-braket-to-car adapter plates (and it sounds like mustang8719 did it the same way). Here's a few pics.

Oh and the side of the seats does come close to hitting the door handle, but it's not a problem.
BTW, with the seats out, it's a good time to give that carpet a good cleaning. Mine is now minty fresh

Titan - Keep me posted on how it goes. my email is drumaz@yahoo.com .. Drop me a line if you don't mind. The seat comes with a slider right? Where does that fit into the whole "sandwich" thing.?Right now my driver seat is broken somewhere near the floor. Not sure if it's the seat or the bracket or waht. I guess when it comes out, I'll have a better idea. Where did you get the seats? $$? sounds like I'm going to have to rip it all apart and see what's doing before I buy/fabricate any kind of brackets.. thanx!

The sliders that came with the seat I didn't use. After taking the factory sliders off the factory seats.I bolted them back in the car. Then marked and drilled the bracket.Bolted the bracket to the sliders. With the factory sliders and brackets bolted in the car and the bolts in the bottom of the seat for a guide.I set the seat on top of the brackets and marked the bolts .Then drilled in the center of the hole the size of the bolts for the seat. Then bolted it all together and dropped it in the car.My seats hit towards the top of the door panel by the lock rod area. Its not that bad.

I got lucky when I bought mine because jegs had a misprint and I got both seats with shipping for $400.00.

If you look closely at the side veiw of my seat you can see the bracket I made it runs the length of the side of the seat.It is kinda gold in color.
