Default drag spring, do i need cc plates

i have eibach drag springs and im wondering if anyone else had these without cc plates.

sry i was on the phone, or i would have explained

1st no you dont need CC plates... or atleast shouldnt.

and dont cut them because then that ****s with the whole rate and all of the spring


its hard to explain w. out examples... but basically if you cut it, the spring will be shorter and not as springy... its a drag spring, you want lift, so you want a springy spring...

think of it this way... grab 2 coils right next to eachother, and squeeze... cant move them at all, now press an entire spring, youll get a little movement... make sense...


basically if you cut them, your defeating the purpose of drag springs

I cut one coil out of mine, i do not run CC plates, but probably should. I have a little bit of negative camber. I had to cut a coil out or they would not go in, i guess it was just the spring compressor i had

I have them and they fit no problem, no cc plates and its fine.
