ya i was thinking about it......but it seems like you need to dump a @$$ load more money into it all..AHH i cant decide. But if i got the 351 i would make the 408 out of it, then my power expectation would raise to 500-600

just do a 393 based off of a f4te casting (94+ roller block) talk to FullAuto for the stroker kit. used a set of AFR 185-205 heads/RHS 190 heads/ or stock ported heads if on a budget (69-70 351w). Run a 10-1:1 C/R is N/A. this would be a nice build man. I am doing a 351w cleavor setup in my 86 over the winter. But not much more money will be spent if going to 351w. Same tranny, and wiring harness will be used. You just need to get a hood (i might have a 2" cowl for sale soon, brand new in primer ) But it'll be sweet build. you can decide.

it should be good to go if tuned proper. the strongest blocks are the 69-71 blocks. but they are not roller blocks, and conversion lifters are needed.

exactly that is why this power level is going to last me a good long while....say at least 2-3 years
