Default Heater Core Bypass "Properly"

I currently have my heater core bypassed, but I plugged both ends of the heater hose hardlines with a grommet or rubber plug. I believe one of the hardlines was a 1/2" and the other a 3/4". I do realize you want to keep the coolant flowing and currently that is not the case.

I've been running like this for about one-hundred miles and a little bit of coolant will seep from the throttle body through the gasket.

Anyways back on track here, how "should I" properly bypass the heatercore and make it look clean without using heater hose and then an adapter and another hose to keep the coolant flowing.

i went to advance auto parts and picked out the hoses with the tightest curves, a few clamps, a cutter, and a few hose fittings. i cut the hoses to make a curvy U shape and loop the lines.

JHey 93 LX 50, maybe you can help. I posted this about a week ago and no replies. Since you said (coolant in the throttle body=not good ). I just replaced my TB gaskets and not sure if I got the right gaskets in right place. Hers a photo. The BBK TB kit has one gasket that the "inside" of the square gasket is a little thicker than the other one (between TB and TB spacer). Do you know which goes where? Thanks.

look up "almost stock" I think that is his user name, but he has a part number for a hose that is in a U shape that works perfectly.

You can gotoAuto Zone and buy hose number S-4354, it’s about $8.00 and cut about 1" off and it fits perfectly, or you could buy this at Breeze Automotive, for $15 and it's direct fit .........#70084 Heater Delete Loop Hose Kit
