t-5 to c-4 conversion
Hi, i was wondering what all does it take to transform my 87 into a auto..
do i need a different bellhousing ??
i have a great deal on a c-4,, and my t-5 is always slipping a clutch, and the syncro's for 2nd is real bad.
i have a 302 s/c 10psi, running low 7's, high 6's in the 1/8.
what all does it take to convert it over

RE: t-5 to c-4 conversion
need a c-4 tranny and the smaller c-4 bellhousing like used on the mustang II it works best for access to bolts as it is for 157 tooth flywheel, need a flex plate for a c-4 that is balanced for a 50 oz motor....and a tranny cooler, and a shifter of some sort like a herst ratchet one....and I believe a cross member for an auto equiped car or modify yours by sliding it back on the mounting tubes.. these are the main items needed
