how hard is it and how many hours does it take to swap motors out

For a direct replacement of the long block is usually like 12 hours flat rate...first time with limited tools and supplies probably 20.

Definatly depends on how you are doing it.Are you swapping parts between engines?I have quite a bit of experiance and I had it done in my drive way on jack stands in about 8 hrs.Had it out of the car in 2hrs and back in within 2 hrs.The rest of the time was swapping parts.

WTF!!! what book did you read that out of!?!?!?...remind me not to take my car into YOUR shop. my god man when i first got into mustangs in high school i swaped a 5.0 in less then 3 hours (in and out) with a few friends. that was in a driveway with limited tools. i could pull one by my self in my shop in less then a hour and reinstall it in a hour. its easyer to pull the tranny with the motor.. anyways youll learn tricks to make it faster after youve done it a few times. its nothing to be scared of if you have friends helping you the first time. youll realize how easy it was after your done

yeah i foget to say that 2 hrs in a drive way is tough man.. props to you...you musta been bustin your a$$ to get it done that fast. just didnt know if you had friends helpin. i dont think i could do it that fast by my self in a driveway.

Was on a time table needed the car done and to get the other car out of my driveway after it sat for 6 months.

seeing those sick saleen side skirts maks me wana cry. my first mustang had those saleen skirts, lx rear bumper like yours, and a gt front clip. boy i sure do miss her, we had some good times. looks good man
