I see what you mean though, I am going to see if there is any play in the pulley.

I don't think there is though becuase I had to replace the pulley after I put thenew gasket on and I don't recall it having any play in it, although I wasn't really checking for it

why dont you just crawl under the car and look at the bottom with a flashlight
better yet use a mirror from the top

check your hoses i would say if none of them are loose/leaking your gonna need a new pump(maybe you bought a bad one)

thats how I saw the leak in the first place (climbing under the car when it was running and almost dying from the leaking exhaust But I will save that one for another thread), but the pulley covers up the nose of the pump. I have to remove it to see up there clearly, either way it seems like the pump is bad, I was just hoping there was something else that I could do becuase I don't want to pull the pump again for the 3rd time[:@]

ya but I made sure I sealed the bastard up good this time and thread locked all of the bolts[:@]
