yah but 4 of those bolts go directly through a water passage and corrode slightly over the miles. thread lock & corrosion = snapped bolts in the block

Where did you get your water pump? I went through three in six months from Advanced Auto. Finally my fourth has been working with no leaks for years. They all leaked out of the lil hole underneath.

I got my pump from a place called the mustang shop here, but it was a reman

Well I got the pump off in record time (around 20 minutes), it really helped that I found I could actaully get at all the bolts with my new harmonic balancer and didn't have to remove it. Looks like it was leaking from that weep hole, I hope they will let me take it back with no recipt[&:]
