ok here's the deal, my stang has been sidelined for about a year. i dropped the tank and cleaned it out about ten months ago, i reinstalled the tank and put about 3 gallons of gas in it. when i feed gas through the intake it cranks and runs fine but dies soon after. i can hear the fuel pump working so i know it isn't that. so what do you guys think?

What dose is idle at?

when you turn the key on do you see your check engine light come on?

my idle is about 750 and i have an 1986 5.0 speed density. i dont have a check engine light so i wouldn't think that would be an isssue. maybe i need to submerge the pump by pouring more gas into the tank?

take your fuel filter out and try to blow through it
be careful not to inhale
