main bearing groove?

Default main bearing groove?
Can someone tell me what the difference between 1/2 groove and a full groove main bearings is, and which would be a direct replacement for rebuilding a 88 5.0?

the main bearing will have a groove in the center of it... its for oiling and such... some will have this groove on just one half of the bearing set... and some will have it on both... which is better... thats an opinion. which is direct for a 5.0 i dont know... but if you take it apart youll be able to obviously tell
