Someone tried to steal my car but i guess they gave up when they broke something off in my ignition cylinder. Now my key will not work, therefore i can not turn the key to depress the lock pin. i have tried to drill out the lock pin but it still will not budge. What else do i need to drill, break, hammer, or crush?

seriously, if you know how to remove the ignition cylinder please let me know in detail, and with pics if you can.

You're gonna have to break away the inside of the lock cylinder to get it out. I was able to use a big drill bit to get one out once. You have your work cut out for you.

WE HAVE TO DO THIS ON BMW'S ALL THE TIME.....what we end up doing is taking a die grinder or cut off wheel and cut the housing open ...you'll probably hace to replace the whole lock assembly and lock housing after your done getting the cylinder out[:@]

That was the advise i needed. Got a big *** drill bit and a chisel and went to town, Housing even made it, with only minor injuries!!!
