Default no air filter

ok so ive been driving this car around now for over a month without an air filter. just found that out. i think im going to remove the fenderwell part and put it under the hood. how bad is this affecting my performance if any. also it has a mass air conversion, how much is this affecting the readings of the air? any thoughts. i know i need to get one just want to know if i damaged a lot.

Its not hurting your performance at all.. maybe helping a bit since its completely unrestricted... but its a bad idea to run like that. No telling what kind of dirt and junk your motor is picking up with no filter on it.
If your going to remove the stock airbox, you can eithre buy a cold air intake kit wich will move your MAF or just stick a conical filter on it anywehre after the maf... any k&n or knock off cone filter that fits will work fine...

Damage? Most likely nothing but it really depends on what got up in there. If you look ata one month old filter. There is probably nothing it there to be alarmed about. Do you drive in dusty areas? That would kill it fast.

Just curious. How did you end up with no air filter?

Get a filter in there retard!

No the roads around here arent dusty. I actually just looked at my air filter after about 6-8 months and it looks brand new literally..... maybe thats because I only have like 200 miles on it all year[:@][:'(][][&o][X(]
