High Fow Cats
I know this has been discussed hundreds of times but I couldnt find a post that answered my questions. I am looking at some high flow catalytic converters. Does anyone know of a good trusted brand? Do I have to put 4 cats on or can I pass emissions with just 2 of them? Anyone with experience with high flow cats and emissions, please let me know something. My set up is MAC headers, O/R X-pipe and flowmaster 44's. Thanks for any help.

RE: High Fow Cats
Magnaflow has a great product with their high flow converters. That's what I had on my old El Camino and it passed with flying colors.
No you do not have to have 4 cats to pass emissions, two will do the trick, but you may want to check with your local laws to be sure that they don't fail you on the visual portion (if you have one) of the test.

RE: High Fow Cats
I just put a bassani X pipe on my car bolted right up no fitment issues at all.Boy what a difference in power those 4 cats were holding me back big time!!!! I know the one I have bolted right up I think some guy who bought a mac had all kinds of trouble getting his on had to cut and shorten the tailpipes for it to work. This is the only one I have experience with.Good luck
