SCREAMING Power Steering!!!!

RE: SCREAMING Power Steering!!!!
Stuff like pumps and compressors are always better to spend the extra cash on a new unit. Either Ford or another manufacturer. Sounds like you'll have to bite the bullet and wait or exchange it and hope for the best.

the biggest problem here is that fluid breaks down under pressure. a typical PS system averages around 900psi.
after years and years of turning, the fluid isnt worth a ****. just changing the pump and resevoir only gets rid of about 50% of the fluid. as soon as you start that car, you've contaminated the new fluid and it breaks it down fast.

find a shop with a BG power steering flush machine and go from there.

Are you sure you bled it properly? You should be able to see when you get mot of the air bubbles out of the line. And if you don't do it right, then you're gonna get that annoying sound.
