Default bent frame

well i tried to have my front end aligned today and got a call saying my passenger side components are bent about 3/4 inch off of where it should be. now they said they couldnt align them because the camber on the drivers side was 1.5(just right) but the closest they could get on the passenger side was 3.5. now if i were to get aftermarket caster camber plates could that make my front end alignable by giving it a greater range to change things in? god i hope so.

Id find out whats bent and fix it. Whats a good alignment on some twisted or bent metal?

If you cant see it, go to a frame shop, its cheap for a frame alignment that minor

i hit a curb at 50mph and broke a camber plate in half, sending the strut through the hood.

no frame damage but i had to order new plates and have it re-aligned.

its unlikely you have frame damage.
a strut will bend way before the car will.
also a pretty bad ball joint could cause that camber problem.

so then should i take it to a frame shop and have them see if its actually bent then?
also how cheap is cheap for something that minor?
my dad told me i should expect a bill around 900. and i dont consider that cheap.

Body shop hourly rates are lower than service.

They wax insurance companies, but cash tickets come cheap.

yeah imma have a budget this winter of about 6500 to put in my motor.
and i really dont want to dip into that too much to fix the frame.
but i guess it would be no use making the car quick if it still handles like $hit
