Any one running synthetic oil?

RE: Any one running synthetic oil?
I use Mobile 1 or Penzoil synthetic, whichever I can get cheaper at oil change time. The only constant is the WIX oil filter. I have 70k on my daily driver and 80k on my wife's. No issues with changing oil brands.
I have only had my Mustang for about 5 months so far. It had about 155k on it when I changed the oil and went to a synthetic. According to the previous owner he was using valvoline dino. I have less than 1k since the oil change but there are still no leaks.

should be alright. cars now days have VERY tight clearances inside the motor, too thick of oil and at start up when the oil is cold will not get betwen the bearings like they should and kiss it goodby. seriously you only need like 5psi at idle, thats using thin oil, its not uncommon today. if you do see leaks with synthetic, just go with a blend. we use the blend at work, i think its 5w-20.
