Fuel Pump Replacement, which one?

Fuel Pump Replacement, which one?
I've acquired a 92 Mustang LX with a lot of work done to it, unfortunately I'm not sure everything is jiving together, nor can I tell the extent of parts put on, since it was a budget job. It's a cold natured 302, stripped of A/C and any smog equip, but will eventually idle fine and rev just as good. Now, here's the problem.
Once placed in gear (manual shift) it wants to bog down and now completley die while throttle is held. Timing checks out fine, injectors have been replaced(19lb), but I think the culprit is in the fuel pump. But which one should I go with, how many lph for my setup? I plan on doing min strip time, but mainly weekend cruising.
Specs, that I know of:
-Stock Block
-E-Grind cam(i think)
-Some sort of Edelbrock performer intake(upper and lower)
-longtube headers (dumped)
-standard CAI
Think that's about it, any guidance is greatly appreciated.

RE: Fuel Pump Replacement, which one?
Id check the system with a pressure guage first. Sounds like you are getting too much air into the system. Check for vac leaks and unmetered air. Fuel pumps are expensive. Might not hurt to put a new fuel filter on also. A resistricted on might be the cause.

With fuel pumps always get 255lph, there's no reason not to as you have a return style fuel system, unused fuel is returned to the tank. They're like 100 bucks, Walbro is the cheapest and the manufacturer for most brands of fuel pumps anyway. (ie. BBK)

Buy a 255 from there. That is where I got mine, no complaints.

i bought a bbk 255lbfrom summit $145 bucks (no problems went right in)
the killer is the 40 dollar gasket i had to buy for the filler tube it ripped when i took the tank out
i would order that somewhere online first if you have to go to ford its 40 bucks
I think I seen them somewhere online for like 20 bucks

RE: Fuel Pump Replacement, which one?
Thanks for the input guys, definitely helpful. As suggested, I have checked fuel pressure, which is at around 35 at idle and seems to jump up to around 40 under light throttle. Lastly, the fuel filter has recently been changed, no no prob there.
Any other suggestions?
