Can you help me identify this intake manifold?
I snapped a photo of this mustang at a local car show but the owner wasn't around at that moment so I couldn't ask him who made that intake manifold. Can anyone identify it?

Hey i picked up the same intake ( upper and lower so the runners match) at a big old parts swap. Aside from cleaning it up,what all needs done to put this on a stock 5.0(motor at least, its got gears and pulleys)? Would it make a difference, is it even worth putting it on a stocker? So far the only thing I can think of needing is a gasket kit made for this manifold.

Any speed shop should carry the gaskets for the GT-40 intake manifolds. All you need to do is pull off your old one, and swap the throttle body and stuff over to the new intake, and bolt it on with all new gaskets. It's pretty straight forward but if you have never done it before, a chiltons manual is helpful... Yes the GT40 will make an improvement over the stock intake manifold on astock 5.0, but you may also want to consider a bigger TB and MAF to really feel the gains. Then you start getting into the heads and cam department for the real gains!

Well im on a limited budget so i can't really get heads. Going to school for Engineering doesnt leave much time for a silly part time job. I can afford a MAF and TB no problem. What is ur suggestion to the sizes and brands I should get?

If the car is going to stay fairly stock for a while I would suggest a 65mm TB and a 70mm MAF. BBK makes a great TB (I have always used their TB's) but Edelbrock makes them, professional products makes them, the list goes on and on. As for the MAF, I would go with a Pro-M or Granatelli.
