K-member parts
I am installing a K-member in my Stang. UPR said I will have to buy a bump steer kit and a set of caster/camber plates.
Question: Is this true, or are they blowing smoke up my but? My Stang Is a 1990 Mustang GT.
I have parts Links below

If I do buy C/C plates which ones should I buy? They have a set for $64.95 but I'm not sure if they will work for me or not. Anybody wanna help me with this delima?

Also is there anywhere else I can get these parts for cheaper. Besides Ebay.

RE: K-member parts
If you get a kit with the coil overs they are right i dont think your stock caster camber plates will work with coil overs, also the coil overs might lower the car that is why it says you need a bump steer kit. can u just get a k member by its self? I was looking at a D&D k member.

This is what I ordered.

That sucks if I have to replace the spindles. Does that mean I can't use the stock struts?
Also, will those 64 dollar C/C plates work?

RE: K-member parts
Besides reducing weight, a tubular 'k' member will improve handling in several different ways, including ackerman steering. However I would only install a tubular k member if I also changed to the proper caster/camber plates, tubular control arms and installed a coil-over system. However, before one would do that change, a more benficial change would be to change your rear suspension to a torque arm/pan hard bar set-up. Maximum Motorsports or Griggs Racing have the best suspensions for your Mustang. I have installed them before and will again soon as I just purchased a 92 Coupe'. They cost a little more but they put the rubber to the road. Good Luck!
