Engine 3
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWA%3AIT

or should i rebuild the engine that i have now that i think spun a bearing. The only thing about rebuilding an engine is that i hear that it is nothing like a new one and don't last too long but any suggestions would be great! Thanks!!!!

I know it has more miles, but the third option looked like the best one for the money, a totally complete motor, on a pallet, ready to ship out. It also looks like the nicest of the three.
If it were my money that's the one i'd get.

Well i should have canceled the 3rd engine because i live in CT and it is all the way in FL. So it will cost around 600 bucks to ship the damn thing. So i say maybe a road trip to NJ because the one in CT looks nasty.

i didnt notice anyone saying WHY the engines were removed in the first place, and where's the guarantee that the engine has any certain amount of miles on it, engines dont have odometers. People dont usually go through the hassle of removing a perfectly good engine for nothing. For the amount you would spend on buying and shipping one of those engines, you could have your's rebuilt, bored and probably stroked! on top of that you would have a good as new engine, not one with 60k miles on it. if the shop blueprints and balances your engine when rebuilding it, it's as good (probably much better) than when it came new.

ya thats what im thinking about. What if i get the engine and have it all sent here or i go all the way to NJ or something and then i put it in my car and it does not work or a few miles down the road it cuts out. Does anyone know what a good rebuild of an engine costs from an engine shop? Because i think that is where i am prob going to go. But i dont have a whole lot of money to spend at the time. No more then like a grand at the time. If anyone has some suggestions or know some prices please reply.

THANKS!!!!

Well if i am going to buy an engine i am going to have to find one close to CT. Because other wise i am going to be paying more then what i paid for the engine just for shipping. Being that the good ones that i happen to see are all the way in FL (Miami). So i am prob going to go with rebuilding my engine that i have now. But not too sure at the prices of having it done.

I would just send the engine to be rebuilt. That way you will know whats under your hood. The price shouldn't be to bad. It all depends on how much mods you are looking to put on. Just my 2 cents.
