Default Hard time finding Idle once warm

I own a 94GT with H/C/I with all the common bolt ons. I just recently fixed a short on one of my injectors and fired up the car for the first time in a good while. When it first fired up it was a little rough, which was expected, but after driving it for awhile it was runing well and strong. After a couple of days I was driving it around for about 30 minutes and stopped at the store for a minute. When I got back to my car and fired it up again it began idling irradically, jumping between about 200-1500RPM, before dieing. I finally had to start it and hold the motor at about 2500RPM for about 30 seconds straight before it would finally settle down and find an idle. It now does this every time I restart it after ive been driving it, never does it when it's cold. I have no idea what could be causing this becuase the motor is already warm when it does this. If anyone has any suggestions, I would appreciate them.

probably the hall sensor inside the distributor
there's a test procedure floating around here for the fox distributor, but your car might have different wiring colors given the TFI module has been relocated to the fender on your car.

I used the trick flow street cam, .498 intake .512 exhaust, and this happened well after I had installed the H/C/I. I'd say it has been about 10-12 months since I did the H/C/I install

try cleaning or get a newidle air control valve. also, clean your throttle body and check for any vacuum leaks. i had that same problem not long ago and that solve it. go to autopartsgiant.com and they have a motorsport iac for about $85.00.
