ok i have a typhoon intake, on the car and it has i think summit shorties. i need to know what headers work on gt40p's thats all. if it more to get the gt40's worked and new headers then i will be one of your guinea pigs for the patriot perf. heads.

get some FRPP headers. they're good stuff, and not super expensive, and they bolt right on to gt40p's with no problems

Most will work, the P's just have spark plug clearance issues with some headers
Like said above, the Ford Racing headers should give you the clearance you need.

ok well i want to go long tube neways though. i think ill just do the gt40ps try the headers i got and if they dont work then ill be mad haha.

I think mac long tubes work on those heads.I would do some research on those

Correct, 4 bars on the end of the head designates it a GT40P (GT40P is also stamped in the head). Mac makes a shorty header just for the P heads.

How about this monkey wrench in the machine. 66 mustang, with a 69 351w short deck, with a set of gt40p heads mated to a c4. Anybody played around with this combo. Im just awaiting the arrival of my 1515 bbk headers. And heres another thing, how come some advertise the 1515 headers as equal and others as unequal. What am I missing there?
