Oh I'm running that same transmission in my car except mine is out of a 83 turbo coupe which is pretty much the exact same drivetrain. The first gear is 4:30:1 and second is 2.80:1. You have to be ready to shift from first to second really fast especially if you have done a rear end gear swap. I did pick up .2 in the quater mile with mine though. My trans seems to be holding up fine, went 11.90's on nitrous no problem.

Unfortuantly the 5.0 couldn't handle it.

I know what you meant Zach, just wanted to have some fun...I know your tranny works fine!! heck the few times I saw you launch ..that thing really gets off the line quick!!!
