So I recently got in a little fender bender (wasn’t my fault) and I’m scoring off the insurance. They’re giving 4,500 if not more to fix my car. By going to the junkyard and picking up a bumper, fender, hood, and new passenger door, doing all sanding, body work and masking myself I will probably have the car fixed and the entire car painted for under 1,100.
Soooo I planned on lowering the car a bit and getting some gun metal cobra Rs. Hopefully will look nice and hard with the new forest green paint. I’m gonna get a much needed throttle body. Also I was gonna upgrade my front brakes while switching to 5 lug but I don’t know what brakes I should get, any suggestions?
What else should I add to the car with the extra cash based on what I have done in my signature?

Oh window tinting happening to compliment the paint and rims..

I was thinking about painting the car white with chrome cobra Rs but I don’t wanna have to mess with the extra work with painting the door jams and under my hatch, not to mention the engine bay wouldn’t match.

get your body worked fixed leaving you with 3500 or so get your suspension beefed up convert 5 lug pick up some prostars and probably have enough money for your throttle body or you can just go to the junkyard pick up all your fenders dook it out with a paintjob and pick up a cam and intake?

Ya I was going to do all the body work with parts from the junkyard myself. What brakes should I look at tho. What exactly are prostars?
For suspension i was thinking adjustable camber/caster plates and a MM torque arm (converts 4 link to 3) has anyone heard anything about this or does anyone use it?

What heads are on that thing? They look aluminum in the pic, but is may just be really clean steel. And if you are going to do a 5 lug convo.i would get the 03 cobras. try and pick up a set used and save some money

They're the stock heads, after I ported them for a school project I had a 5 angle valve job done, along with cleaning them up magnafluxing (spelling?) and reassembly. , looks good tho huh..
so cobra brakes, rotors and calipers? will anything be needed or will they bolt right up?

for the rear should I just get some new 5 lug axels, or is there a junkyard source, something I could scoop up while I’m around there getting body parts? ranger's?

sell your car, put cash on top of cash and buy a clean 5.0 already modded

good score ...even though it looks as if you may have partially redone your engine.. no offense but I'd do away with the stock heads get some aluminum ones and a cam while your at it and with the rest of the money any supporting mod to compliment the new heads and cam... just my thinking though
