Gears on the way

RE: Gears on the way
My only problem with the change which is fixable eventually is traction. I have to go easy on first or the tires just spin. I have only driven it for 20 min but for normal driving 3rd gear pulls very hard. If i floor it from a stop the tires spin all the way till 3rd lol. I just need to drive it for a few days to get use to the aod shifting i have only had this car on the road for a few weeks since i bought it back in october and the gear change really changes everything, and i think i need to try and adjust the shifting because it doesnt down shift unless the pedal is almost to the floor even at low rpm's. If im in 4th "overdrive" what determines if it downshifts to 3'rd or 2'nd, i have to floor it to downshift. About 80% of the pedal it will downshift 1 gear.

The only thing I see fixing that is a good shift kit or a T5!! Seriosuly though, you will get used to the gears after a while, and the tire spin will be less once you learn where it is going to happen. I had the same problem, and at the track the other night I was spinning through 2nd and a lound chirp into 3rd for a best of 14.9 @ 91. The gears only get better as you learn how to drive with them.
