Ok, I didn't put the long tubes in here because of price, they are emmissions illegal for my car, and from what I hear you can scrape them on speedbumps. I want the shortys for their price, and ease of install, and they are legal.

yeah long tubes are illegal i heard. i wouldnt say equal lengths are better in every aspect. performanc ewise yes but try installing these equal lengths, change spark plugs, run spark plug wires. not too much fun anymore lol now if you dont mind the hassle then equals are the way to go if you can afford to lose some power for convinence go for unequal lengths.

the long tubes don't do to much for a stock or near stock engine..there great on a well prepped car as you can "tune" the headers..if your going with some bolt ons and stuff just get the unequal shorties...if your going for a mid hp prep car then equals are the ticket..yes they are harder to install and require a good set of plug wires but they help equalize your exhaust flow as do a good set of long tubes which are a b!tch to install as well as the o2 sensors have to be move and all that good stuff..guys long tubes aren't new hell that's all we used to have...sometimes we over complincate things for hp...most are simple..you can even run a 1-3/4 in tubes on a unequal length headers that well flow really well and help upper rpms...put some thought into what you want...for a car to really run and be as trouble free have a plan!

I have ran full length headers on several vehicles and never ahd a legality issue.</P>

i wouldnt follow that advice. you have a few legal choices: if you want a wide *** open exhaust, do a cutout right after the headers. if you want a good sounding decent flowing moderately affordable exhaust check out magnaflow.</P>
