That gage reading does not mean much, only a real mechanical gage should be used if you are really concerned about oil pressure...

im not realy conserned about it, every car iv had with a 302 the gauge has always been in the same spot and iv run a couple of them up over 200k miles, i was just wondering if thats where everyone elses ran

under normal driving on the highway thats about where it stays, iv never looked at it while in the 3500+range cause my eyes are normaly elsewhere...lol

Thats about where my oil pressure needle always sat too after it warmed up on my 88'. I just took care of it buy replacing the guage with a mechanical one--no worries!!

Although my gauges are different, mine reads more towards the high than the low.. Yours seem the opposite.
