Default Gains?

I just bought a TrickFlow Street Intake off of StangTang and it is being shipped to me via Fed Ex. When I get it, I will be throwing the new up/low intake on as well as a set of Crane 1.7 Roller Rockers and Under drive pulleys. With what I have now already, how much HP gains should I expect to gain, and maybe a few 10ths in the 1/4?

Any insight would be nice, thanks ahead of time.

i installed the trick flow street intake over the summer, and didn't feel a huge differance. i deffinitly got more mid and top end but nothing crazy since i still have the stock heads. with the 1.7's and the underdrive pulleys tho im sure ull feel a very noticable increase. two things about that intake tho... first it makes a whissling noise at idle... everyone told me this was a vacume leak but its not. this is the only intake that does it for some reason. also after i put on the intake i noticed a drop in power after 5,500, and before it would pull right to 6,000. my thoery is that i was getting more air than gas so, this winter i put on an adjustable fuel regulator and cranked up the PSI. ill have to wait till spring to see if i was right... either that or it could be worn valve springs. anyway im sure you'll feel 15-25 hp increase on the top. this will triple with heads tho, remember you have big runners on that new intake but you still have small ports in the heads...

i have the same set up basically, only bad thing about the street is if u wanna get heads and cam, the street is good from idle to 5000rpm, so im gonna sell mine and buy the trackheat, will give me power from idle to 6200 which is perfect with my cam and heads. g/l tho. u wont notice a necksnapping different but ur mid will def have a bit more umf to it, as for 1/4 say maybe 2 tenths of a second if that

Thanks for the replies. I am thinking with the mods I have, with the 1.7 Roller Rockers, Underdrive Pulleys, Street Intake, and a MAF I should be able to drop another 1/2 second, maybe more.. Probably more.. I am hoping to be a low 14 high 13 second car with the intake, T/B, MAF, Underdrives, 1.7 Rollers, and the mods listed in my sign, think it's possible?? Then I will start focusing on suspension and chassis work. I know I am doing it backwards, but this is all just the basics until I get my AFR's and DragLites with ET Street slicks.

it pulls from idle - 5000 rpm's, and with any intake manifold you wont realize their full potential without a set of aftermarket heads. the street heat intake has the longer runners for more low end torque. i am sure you will be happy.

The street heat mani sounds like a great one for a blown street application.

Yes I am sure I will be very happy with the intake. It makes power to 5500 actually but close enough. Yeah I am doing it backwards but I dont really care.. I just cant wait for my 1.7 roller rockers underdrive pulleys, and my new intake... After these mods I am hopeing for low to mid 14's with that and my mods in my sign. I am going to get heads in September for my 18th birthday. I think after that I will get some new wheels and tires for the track, and should be running deep into the 13's with some ET street Slicks. For my birthday I am going to get the car repainted and a new Cobra R hood with the SVO scoop, that should add a little personality to my car, and it will be all me I love settlement checks especially when they come in large sums!! It would pull to 6k RPM with the stock cam?? When I run at the track I am shifting at 5200 RPM, but I have stock cam, rollers, and heads/intake... Should I be shifting higher in the RPMs?? I have heard of numerous people say that they shift at redline in their stock 5.0 with stock cam, am I doing this wrong? Have also heard of people saying power drops off after 4700, so dont go past 5k at the track.. Would I run better times if I took it to redline??
