Default Transmission wont go back on

Is there some sort of trick to getting you trans back up where it belongs? The thing that is holding me up is that i cant get the splined input shaft to go back onto the clutch, therefore, i cant get the bolts in to put her back up. How in the hell do i do this, i know that it is started but i keep wiggling it and the damnthing wont go all the way in! Help me out please!

It will release the clutch disk so it will move around and allow you to line everythig up.

Here's a trick I use when you've got a difficult clutch. Detach the bellhousing from the transmission, then with thepressure platebolts loose enough to move around the clutch disc, use the input shaftof the transmission as an alignment tool. Slide her in until it bottoms out then try to eyeball the transmission so it looks level and go ahead and tighten your bolts. Then slip it out, reinstall the bellhousing, and it should go back together. This trick was especially handy on a twin plate clutch set up for this T-56 I was working on. I had to do it again with my centerforce on my T-5.
