right cam for the job
I am building a new engine from the ground up for the first time.
Here is where im at now.
306 w/ speed pro forged fly cut
windsor sr heads ported and polished. rebuilt valve train binding at about .650 flows 280/180 at .600 lift.
port matched victor jr
min carb is 650cfm..do have on yet.
built AOD with 2800-3200 stall hasnt been on the road so i dont know exactly.

RE: right cam for the job
Your stall might be kinda small. I have a cam pretty close to yours with the AOD. When I throw it into gear it boggs down. I have a 3000 non-lock up by hughes performance. I wish I went with there 3500 or 4000.
