Default H/C/I - will this work on a 347?

After all the research I have done, I think I have picked out the combo that I want to run on my '88 5.0...

-AFR 165's
-TFS Street Heat Intake
-Custom Cam
-1.7 RR (I think, need suggestions)
-MAF conversion (still deciding)
-supporting mods (i.e. exhaust, TB, fuel, etc.)

My main concern is that if in the far future I may get a built 347, will this H/C/I combo work well for it? Would AFR 185's be better for the 347? What about the addition of a supercharger?

Thanks for the help! I just crossed over from the 4.6's side to the 5.0's. I'm going to have a lot more fun here, I can already tell.

-AFR 165's nope at least 185's
-TFS Street Heat Intake track heat at least
-Custom Cam exactly!!!
-1.7 RR (I think, need suggestions) if you have the corrct cam there is no need for 1.7. so 1.6
-MAF conversion (still deciding) wouldnt hurt
-supporting mods (i.e. exhaust, TB, fuel, etc.) depends on how crazy you get. 1 5/8 lt's 75mm tb fpr 255 fuel pump etc etc

a 347 with a supercharger should max the block out so goodluck and keep us posted

Hmmm....ok, good to know.

So, if I go with the 185's and the TF Track Heat intake on a stock 5.0L lower, what will that do to performance?

185's wont fit a stock bottom end without notching the pistons

It will be better......since you're going with a custom cam in the 302 setup, the cam designed will be taylored for the specifics of the 185's and intake, including, in most cases, any clearance issues.

Thanks again guys for the help. It looks like I may just forget about the 347 and stay with a 302 since I'm not even sure if I'm going with a 347.

That looks like an affordable option. Excuse my ignorance, but if I wanted to buy one of their 347 stroker kits, what do I have to do to my stock block (assuming I can use it)?
