Default RE: car wont stay running? help

This morning I tried to start mine and I had to hold the key in "start" and it just kept turning over but only hitting on one or two cylinders. When it finally did start I held it up at around 3K RPM and it would just cut off dead. I got it running at one point and it ran for a few minutes and then it would start running really rough, like cylinders were missing, for about 20 seconds then cut off. I haven't tried messing with the key while it's doing it. I can try that tonight or tomorrow.

It doesn't seem to be an issue with the ignition key. I started the car and moved the key around as much as possible and it didn't seem to have any issues.

The problem seems to be getting worse. I haven't driven the car in weeks because I used to be able to drive it back and forth to work and it would only cut off 2-3 times each way. Now I can't even get it out of the driveway.

This morning when it finally started and held it at 3K RPM and it ran for 20-30 seconds and stumbled twice (drop to 2500 and back up to 3K) and then cut off. Whenever it cuts off I can hear the fuel pump run for a few seconds. Everytime I try to start the car it's very slow to start and usually only runs a few seconds before cutting off again.

Someone...Anyone...help please! This is very frustrating!!!
