My 427 W idea...
I need some feedback on this idea because i'm not sure what block to use. I want to build a forged and stroked TT 427W. I want 800 rwhp and i'll use nitrous also b/c the twin turbo alone probably wont get me there. Here is my question. How much blown hp will like a f150 351 block take? I was looking at aftermarket blocks but their BIG $$! Is anyone in this section sponsored? If so could you give me some guidance to getting there? thanks guys

RE: My 427 W idea...
the conclusion is that there SAFE at 600-650 fwhp hp with a good tune. 700-750 is pushing the stock block by anyones measurment, and if u want more than that dont be a fool and use a stock block or you WILL be picking up pieces of your rotating assembly off the 60 ft line. Have you driven a 650fwhp vehicle let alone 800? they are crazy and not for the faint of heart or inexperienced on the streat, will always be fighting traction problems, and you can and will get yourself into trouble before you know what the hell happened, its inevitable.

F-150 block will not take that ..... at least not for long.
No need for Nitrous, you can hit 800-900rwhp on low boost easy.
Here's a guy that just did it.
Twin Turbo 427W ................. 895 rwhp at 11psi on pump gas

RE: My 427 W idea...
as for not ever driving one, everyone has to start somewhere, thats why i didnt build that setup right off the bat. I'm gonna go with the hci swap which i have just done. then i'll step up to the 427 W with the heads and stuff that i have now. then when i get used to that i'll upgrade the trans, then later the turbos will come. there will be other stuff inbetween, suspension and all, i know that it wont b a street car really but i'm ok with that
